VINDICATION!!!

Today is a day of celebration. We have been vindicated. I won't say anything further. Just read what Justice Srikrishna has to say:

2.15.01

One of the major arguments for a separate state of Telangana has been that since the formation of the state of AP, this region has been neglected and even discriminated against, resulting in economic and social hardship.
Compared with coastal Andhra, it is alleged that Telangana has low per capita income, lower access to employment, lower business opportunities and low access to education and so on. It is also alleged that most of the higher level economic opportunities are appropriated by those belonging to coastal Andhra.
At the outset, some or all such allegations appear true when absolute amounts, numbers and percentages are reviewed. Yet, when a study of rate of change, growth rate and shares in the state economy is evaluated, nothing unusual emerges. Telangana excluding Hyderabad, currently has a share of 36% in state population and 41% in state land mass. Any development parameter that is consistent with these shares can be considered on par or at parity with the population / share of land mass. Indeed, one finds that at a reference point in the past, such as the census 1961 or 1956 or 1974 since when factual data are available, the shares for Telangana were far too low (refer to Figure 2.44). In recent years, however the shares of Telangana for many common development parameters are in league with the share of population / area, often being higher.
There are a few crucial indicators on which Telangana is lagging behind, and they appear to have occurred due to structural causes of the economy and also due to concentration of economic activity in Hyderabad district/urban agglomeration.

2.15.02

Overall, in spite of 50 plus years of policy protected planning and execution, one finds regional variations in the economic development of AP. The rate of growth in the development parameters summed up below is found to be robust both in Telangana (even after excluding Hyderabad) and coastal Andhra. Disturbing, however, are the growing levels of inequity within Telangana and Rayalaseema, and within the deprived population groups. Contrastingly, the evidence suggests that the inequity in income has, in fact, declined in coastal Andhra. It is essential, therefore, to take a note of inequity differentials between the haves and have-nots in Telangana, especially amongst the SCs, STs and minorities. Such deepening inequity in Telangana can not only sustain the separatist agitation but it can also carry it further and increase its intensity. The masses, therefore, can be easily used as tools of agitation by motivated groups and even political parties.

We have been vindicated by Justice Srikrishna. The time to fight for Telugu Unity with all our strength has come.

Save Andhra Pradesh!

To add to my post above  - who are going to believe in the "broadmindedness" "cosmopolitanness" of a people who refuse to engage with their fellow Telugu speaken brethren just because they come from a different region?. Muslims are not fools ..KCR said 12% reservation Dy CM..sang praises of Nizam but I think even if he licks the feet of everyone of them they are not going to be convinced. Talk is cheap they just dont trust him or the "movement" and they are correct.

I came to know today is International Mother Language Day. Wishes to all my fellow Telugu brothers.
Here is a poem quite impressed me which I found in a blog..

Note: I don’t want to have any debate on the above verses

      Awsome!.
As somebody said…one of the causes for present situation in AP is degradation of respect for mother tongue…lack of interest to study History of India and AP. Telangana agitation is an alarming bell for other regions in India..unless basics are not set right.
Even I dont want to have any debate on this.

    Where is the society heading??
Rasta rokos,Attack on a LEARNED LEADER like JP,Misbehaving with Governor Narasimhan,
By doing all this, T people are projecting themselves like Goondas and …
Some one has clearly said, TRS stands for TELANGANA ROWDY SAMITHI NOT TELANGANA RASHTRA SAMITI.
Statehood or no Statehood, There is no need to loose sanity.
Think practically and do something constructive for society

  4. Chandra says:

    Hello UT,

Sure We will stop calling TRS as goons and TRS engineers, professors lawyers  as liars fake..etc..when there is a public apology from them to Telangana people and other regions in AP. I will tell you such an act will definitely convince coastal and rayalaseema people to accept for your T. Its a very good opportunity for you. They will not say  when its lie …why not stay in AP. Everything is there in your side.

You guys are the source of the problem and u guys have the solution. If you shine a focussed light towards us to cause trouble…we will just put a mirror and reflect it back to you. If u stop the light u will not have discomfort…simple.!

BTW…I believe u r referring to me. Why not my full name is some other chandra. :)

Seems after seeing my postings for some time you  felt from bottom of your heart that whatever i write here is an absolute truth…and you are calling me as Harishchandra!…

    THANK YOU.
    :)   :) :)

  5. Udyama Telangana says:

@Chandra, You got me Wrong. The '"Harishchandra" I was referrring  has nothing to do with you even for a small fraction.
You could call whatever you want but I am surprised  by the so called "Unity" Torch bearers always using foul language.  Its funny to hear the words of wisdom from the section who spread hatred in the name of Factionism, Casteism etc.  – Again this is not an intened comment on  you personally.

  6. Krishna Mohan says:

    @UT,
Do you think Seperate state of T is well informed choice of 4 crores of telanganas or an emotional/senitmental issue.
When I say, informed choice, is their desire based on well understood social and economic consequences in short run and long run profound on review and analysis of statistical evidences and thier extrapolation, complete clarity on technicalities of irrigation or other resources utilization and allocation, year wise-region wise budgetory allocation etc., If only they framed their opninion what some vested interests like politicians, pseudo professionals and analysts preach.. SHOULD SUCH OPINION Be VALUED?
If the crave for seperate state is not out of any great understanding of the issue but if it is out of emotion or sentiment..do you agree such emotion or sentitment should be respected? don't you think yeilding to such emotions can set a bad precedence. T itself can become a victim 10 years later when some one from Adilabad starts crying foul over south T leaders and  sparks emotions in people.
tell me something very candidly.. how many stundents doing agitatiions for T can tell all T distrincts in order of north to south without referring to map. How many students can quickly rattlte through which districts krishan or godavari flows.. or how many govt jobs in T are there in total out of which how many are people from andhra districts. I can bet not even 1% them understands irrigation technicalities though they pounce on debates over this issue. I have only seen them reflecting what politicians canvass without an independent and object review. Do you think such attitude among students is safe for us and country? This means.. everybody can use students to their advantage by washing their brains. With the agitations of students getting allround attention (thanks to media), the day is not far.. students getting radical for every justifiable and injustifiable cause. No wonder they can insist pass certificates without writing exams pretending the faculty and facilities are not good, failing which they can start a movement.
god save our universities.. and democracy replete with truly uneducated and  uneducated in guise of educated folks willing to sell their votes and values  for something in return.

  7. Udyama Telangana says:

    @Krishna Mohan,
Seems like you have all on the knowledge on your finger tips.
I could sense a Winston Churchill within you now. Probably JP was referrring to you last week.
For all the above questions I  cannot comment on my fellow telanganites knowledge without knowing their actual potential. But I am pretty sure that every Telanganite knows what they are fighting for and we do not need Churchill's to forecast our future.
I have nothing more to say.

  8. Udyama Telangana says:

I do not think that Telanganites need churchills to forecast their future.

  9. Krishna Mohan says:

    @UT,

Unfortunately, Churchil has been largely right in his predictions so far. Though I hate but have to admit chuchil  will prove to be 100% correct as political and economical situtations will unfold in next 10 years. Since you admitted telanganites dont have sight for future in this decission, circustastically albeit.
Do they atleat know relative position (as compared to andhra, seema or ther regions in India) of telangana in present with great clarity? Should a irreversible decission such as state dvision be based on  emotions/sentiments  based on preceived conception and without studying pros and cons of the decision? should you feel students who are not ready for understanding the polity and economy take part in agitations and exert undue influence or coercion on government taking the advantage of delicate and patronized position they enjoy in socieity.

  10. Udyama Telangana says:

If it is just your individual opinion, Pity should be shown on your ignorance and I would ignore your baseless & mean comments. Well, Praising Churchill whether intentionally or unintentionally shows  quality of your thought process.Other than showing concern and Pity, I cannot help you in anyway. Good luck brother.
    Get well soon!

  11. Chandra says:

    Krishna mohan garu,
I like the way you are approaching the problem. But unfortunately…these people can not understand what we are saying. They are in emotion. I personally know people who are pediatricians, engineers…lawyers…lecturers…teachers who are hard core separatists, who immediately become extremely emotional and start abusing me and other integrationists .

Some how this emotion is there in few people who mostly prevail in northern telangana distrcts. There seems to be  a problem of some sort of identity crisis.

Important observation is most of these people  i know have tremendous inferiority complex event-though they are highly educated.  Mostly I saw them reading Dale carnegie books and other self confidence building material most of the time.
